Delve into the world of Dishonored with three short films.

Get a first-hand glimpse into the steampunk-inspired world of Dishonored in the shadowy whaling city of Dunwall, where plague is rampant and the city is in disarray and on the verge of complete chaos.

In the latest piece of the integrated campaign Rokkan’s executed for Bethesda’s “Dishonored,” we collaborated with animation studio Psyop to create three “prequel” short films with a unique look and feel. Inspired by the aesthetic of the game (created by Arkane Studios) and the life of Corvo, the game’s protagonist, we created shorts with a hand-drawn twist that illustrated the dark, oppressive feel of the world of the game.

“After vetting several animation shops, Psyop stood out to us because they understood the story we were trying to tell, and the world we were trying to create. They were the only studio who could really bring Dunwall to life,” said Charles Bae, Chief Creative Officer, ROKKAN. “Bethesda and ROKKAN’s approach to the prequels was to give context to the dystopian world of Dishonored, establishing a backstory up to the point of the player’s immersion at the start of the game.”

Dishonored will be available in North America on October 9, 2012 and throughout Europe on October 12, 2012, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. We really can’t wait:
