NEW YORK, Dec. 8, 2016 – In its third campaign for Cadillac, Rokkan is encouraging viewers to “Cast A Bold Shadow” with the Cadillac Escalade. The campaign, which features four unique cinemagraphs, will run via organic and paid placements on Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter and Snapchat throughout December. It will also be promoted through Cadillac-owned pages on the same social platforms.

The four cinemagraphs–“King of a Different Jungle,” “Force of Nature,” “Every Road a Stage,” and “The Undisputed Champ”–showcase the Cadillac Escalade with unique shadows that illustrate the vehicle’s power and style. Rokkan and Cadillac are also utilizing Facebook Canvas to share the “Shadows” story. Users will be invited to take a short quiz that introduces them to the interior of the car via panoramic imagery, while also asking them about their preferred driving experiences. After responding to the four questions, users will find out which “Shadow” that they cast based on the four shadows depicted in the different cinemagraphs.

“Cast A Bold Shadow” follows the “Daring Pursuits” campaign that Rokkan Los Angeles launched for the Cadillac XT5 earlier this year, and the “Don’t You Dare” campaign that Rokkan produced and managed social engagement for in partnership with Publicis Communications for the 88th Annual Academy Awards. Those campaigns represented the continued evolution of Cadillac’s “Dare Greatly” brand platform, which supports the idea that no matter what path you’re on, the desire to explore new passions is universal.
